Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the Travelodge was quite frustrating due to booking issues that led to a significant amount of my money being held without any reservation confirming. While the rooms were okay, and the staff was friendly, the noise from traffic and the musty smell in the corridors were quite off-putting. On the plus side, the beds were comfortable, and the hotel has its own appeal, but overall it felt very outdated and uninspired. I would recommend considering other options if you're looking for a pleasant stay.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms were commendable, and the location was quite convenient for exploring the area. However, the customer service fell short, especially at the reception, which detracted from the overall stay. While the experience was generally okay, better communication from staff would have enhanced it significantly.
We had an amazing time at this hotel, especially since it was just a short walk to Phoenix Park where we attended the event with the Pope. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the restaurant offered delicious meals. However, there were some cleanliness issues mentioned by others that took away from the overall experience. While the staff and dining were highlights, some aspects of the room could definitely use improvement.
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel while visiting to see the Pope. The location was perfect, just a short distance from Phoenix Park, and the cleanliness and spaciousness of the room were major highlights for me. The breakfast was delicious, and the dining staff, especially Helen, were incredibly attentive. However, there was a frustrating issue when I arrived in relation to a cash security deposit that affected my plans. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but be aware of potential extra charges if paying cash.
The hotel is conveniently located near major roadways, making it easy to reach Dublin city center. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds that provided a good night's sleep. However, the extra bed for our family was rather disappointing and uncomfortable. The dining experience at the onsite café was surprisingly enjoyable, with decent options for both dinner and breakfast at reasonable prices.
